Nestled in the picturesque village of Kimbridge on the banks of the River Test, Kimbridge House is a thoughtfully refurbished seven-bedroom farmhouse designed to offer guests an exceptional countryside escape.

Created as a luxury destination for visitors drawn to Hampshire's renowned fly fishing, shooting and country pursuits, the project transformed the property's principal living spaces while delivering a complete interior fit-out that balances contemporary comfort with the timeless character of the farmhouse.

Opening up the heart of the home

The refurbishment focused on reconfiguring the home's main living areas, opening up the kitchen, dining and lounge to create a generous, light-filled space designed for gathering, entertaining and relaxing.

Every intervention was carefully considered to enhance the flow of the home while respecting its rural setting and existing character, creating interiors that feel both elegant and welcoming.

From architecture to interiors

Working closely with the owner, our team developed and delivered a comprehensive interior design scheme that extended far beyond the architectural works.

We sourced and procured the kitchen, bespoke joinery, decorative lighting, electrical fittings, ironmongery, sanitaryware, furniture, soft furnishings and accessories, creating a cohesive interior that reflects the quality and character of the property.

Our involvement also included managing quotations, supplier liaison, procurement, order tracking, delivery scheduling and on-site coordination, ensuring every detail was in place for the property's opening.

Delivered to a fixed seasonal programme

As Kimbridge House operates as a luxury holiday destination, the refurbishment needed to be completed between guest seasons. Construction commenced in September 2025, with the property ready to welcome visitors in June 2026.

Working alongside contractor JR Baker, careful planning, close collaboration and proactive project management ensured the programme remained on track, allowing the farmhouse to open in time for the summer season.

Kimbridge House demonstrates our ability to deliver more than architectural design alone. By combining architecture, interior design, procurement and project coordination, we created a fully realised home where every element has been carefully considered - from the overall spatial experience to the smallest finishing touch.
