Dan completed his RIBA Part I at Portsmouth School of Architecture before pursuing a degree apprenticeship that integrated both RIBA Part II and RIBA Part III into a single comprehensive course, allowing him to gain practical experience alongside his studies. Upon completion, Dan earned his qualification as an architect and became a member of the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
With a rich background, he has worked extensively in the public sector, focusing on high-value projects for clients such as the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, Foreign Commonwealth Office, and Department for Transport.
At Adam Knibb Architects, Dan has played a pivotal role in overseeing a diverse range of contemporary projects, specialising in bespoke high-end residential architecture with a strong emphasis on sustainable design principles.
